Remote water quality monitor enable to measurement and reporting of chlorine residual within the water distribution network
- Identification of network problems; leakage or low pressure
- Provision of targeted network planning data for strategic decision support
- Operational data for rezoning of distribution networks and valve adjustment
- Enables monitoring of water quality problems in specific zones
The Chloroclam® Water Quality Monitor accesses the water main via the hydrant point, to continually monitor and report chlorine residual data from the water distribution network.
Simply locate the Chloroclam Water Quality Monitor within the fire hydrant chamber, attach the cap to the bowl and open the hydrant valve. The system will provide data to the user via the GPRS network. Using high accuracy industry standard sensing, the design has been optimized to ensure minimal water flows through the system to waste.
Remote communications within the unit automatically upload data via the GPRS network multiple times per day. Data can be accessed via a web based system to view or download data as required.
