Overview
Bi-Act Super Dissolved Oxygen® (Bi-Act SDO®) is an award winning and SPAN approved hybrid wastewater technology promoted by Alam Sekitar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (ASMA) since 2014.
Bi-Act SDO® is a simplified, modernized aerators for adding oxygen into bio-waste treatment which incorporates combination of two (2) biological wastewater treatment theories; Fixed Film Process and Activated Sludge Process.
Amongst the applications of the innovative hybrid design solutions are:
- Sewage Treatment Plan (STP) – Wastewater treatment and and disposal of human and domestic waste
- Retrofitting and Upgrading Works – Upgrade or refurbish existing treatment plant to increase capacity and improve efficiency
- Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) – The treatment of wastewater from industries such as palm oil mills, paper mills, rubber factories and other manufacturing industries
- Pre-Treatment Plant – Pre-treatment of industrial waste; oil and grease

- Hybrid Processes – Two (2) removal processes (Bi-Act) are activated in the same aeration tank at the same time, simultaneously
